Frequently Asked Questions

Are my donations tax-deductible?   Yes, we are a 501(c)(3) organization.  Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.  

 

What is your return policy?  All items may be returned within 10 days as long as the original tag is attached & the original receipt is provided.

 

What brands do you accept?  We accept just about any brand and item that is in good condition and isn't stained or torn.   

 

Can I consign my items instead of donating?  We do not consign any items.  All items are donated & proceeds used to help homeless animals.

 

What if I donate something you can't use in your store?  All items are reviewed to determine if they meet quality standards, governmental regulations and are not dangerous.  If we determine we are unable to sell an item, it will be donated to another charity or discarded. 

 

How much money is donated to the animal charities?  We are a non-profit organization and operate per IRS regulations. Our goal is up to 60% of net profits, but this amount will vary with our sales levels - the more we sell, the more we can donate!

 

How are the charities selected?   Organizations are selected based on their mission.  It is our intent to provide cash donations to a rotating group of organizations, as well as for specific situations in which funds are needed (i.e. special medical funds, senior pets, emergency requests, etc).  If your organization is interested in becoming partners, please contact us.
